ABSTRACT INFO

The Phenome 2018 conference will feature general and concurrent sessions as well as poster sessions.

  • All abstract authors must be registered for the conference prior to submitting an abstract.  
  • All abstracts must be submitted electronically. We do not accept submissions via mail or fax.
  • Each registered attendee can be the “Presenting Author” on only one poster abstract, although they may be a “Non-Presenting Author” on an unlimited number of abstracts.
  • Abstracts are limited to 300 words.

DEADLINES

  • Abstracts submitted by December 15, 2017 will be considered for short talks. 
  • The deadline to submit an abstract to be included in the online program and mobile app is January 11, 2018. 

Tips On Preparing Your Poster

The maximum size allocated for each poster is 3 feet 7 inches across by 3 feet 6 inches high (109 cm across by 106 cm high). Be sure to use a type size and font that will be easily readable. No electrical or multi-media displays. Consider including a small picture of yourself in the corner of your poster and uploading a picture to your profile in the online submission site so people looking for you at the meeting may recognize you. Also consider including contact information in case someone wishes to ask you questions about your work but is unable to connect with you at the poster sessions.

POSTER PRINTING

Poster printing will not be available on-site. Please plan to bring your poster already printed. 

Onsite At The Meeting

Photographing, videotaping, or recording of any kind IS PROHIBITED (including but not limited to camera phones and digital devices). 

POSTER LOCATION

All posters will be displayed daily in Turquoise Ballroom.
Poster numbers are sent to presenters who have registered for the conference and have completed their abstracts before January 11th. 
Posters will be listed on the Phenome website and in the mobile app.

Poster Setup

Wednesday, February 14, 2018: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Thursday, February 15, 2018: 7:30 am – 8:30 am and 10:00 am – 10:30 am

Posters will be organized by topic, sub-topic (if given), and by presenters last name. Put your poster on the board where your final poster number is located in the corresponding Cacti group. Poster pins will be provided. Do not move the boards or your poster number. No electrical or multi-media displays.

If you did not receive a poster number, place your poster in one of the empty spots at the end of the poster boards. Un-numbered spots are on a first-come-first-served basis.

All posters must be on display by 11:00 am on February 15, 2018.

POSTER REMOVAL

All posters must be removed by 10:45 am on Saturday, February 17, 2018. Posters not removed by 10:45 am will be relocated to the Speaker Ready Room (Agave Room I & II) for pick-up. Posters not collected after 5:00 pm will be discarded.
